Playa Zancudo’s Plan Regulador has been approved paving the way
for property owners to receive Concessions. Saturday in Playa
Zancudo Minister Angelo Altamura who is the Ministry of Housing, and
Major of Golfito Municipality Aida Soto presented the completed Plan
Regulador to the residents of Playa Zancudo. The Mayor and Minister
recognized the cooperation and assistance from the community in
completing the Plano. In accordance with Costa Rican law the Plano
will be published in the Official Newspaper, The Gaceta, to formally
announce the completed Plan Regulador. Upon publication the Plano
goes into effect.
Attorney Jose Fernando Carter Vargas representing a group of
Playa Zancudo property owners and Golfito Realty attended the
meeting of Playa Zancudo residents and Government officials.
Attorney Carter noted that the completion of the Plano was a very
significant development for investors and property owners in Playa
Zancudo. He also urged all property owners to initiate the
application process for Concession immediately. Carter noted “The
first step will be to apply for concession before the Maritime
Terrestrial Zone Department at the Municipality of Golfito, to do
that is necessary to have a Plano Catastrado, Application,
identification card (cedula) and if it is a Company a copy of the
Cedula Jurídica and the Personeria Jurídica which means a copy of
the corporation Id card and the certification that proves who holds
the Power of Attorney for the company and the ownership of the
company shares.” Golfito Realty will be working with Jose Carter and
its clients to attain Concessions.
Playa Zancudo will be the first beach in the Gulfo Dulce to have
Concessions. Concessioned property owners will gain confidence in
their investment, significant value increase and the ability to
